TTR3 should also include a better variety of song genres, at the moment it’s mostly Metal & Pop. It responds extremely slowly, especially while launching the app. It seemed like they were too excited about placing the new features, than creating a good & pleasant-to-use interface. The developers didn’t seem to care about the UI too much, but more about the new features. In my opinion TTR3 has a very poor UI (User Interface). Unfortunately, the application lost it’s popular reputation very quick, as TTR3 had, & still has, things that the users don’t like. It did serve for some drama & was definitely “ the” application to have at the time.

However, users are treated to weekly downloads from Tapulous, which keeps the app from getting old too quickly. The game gives you the option to battle against other players all over the globe and even finds players nearby.Įven though it would be great to be able to play any song in your library, restrictions in the iPhone SDK keep this from happening.
Play Online is where Tap Tap Revenge gets good. The first two options let you play by yourself or simultaneously with a friend.

The main menu contains One Player, Two Player, Play Online, Download More Tracks and Options. Even though it’s not as interactive as Guitar Hero it’s very entertaining and the weekly downloadable songs keep the app fresh. If you’ve played any of the Guitar Hero games, then you will be no stranger to the gameplay of Tap Tap Revenge by Tapulous.
